Q

What are the attachments of the inferior oblique?

A

Lateral attachments:
-continuous line from the Thoracolumbar fascia, anterior 2/3 of the iliac crest, lateral half of the inguinal ligament

Medial attachments:

  • Costal cartilages 7-12
  • Aponeurosis to the rectus sheath
  • through the conjoint tendon to the iliopectineal line
