- disposal of needle/syringes

Slowly inject over 10sec period
Remove and massage injection site

REstraint of animal - ensure they swallow the whole amount
Guns designed to deliver treatment towards the back of the mouth over the tongue so entire dose swallowed to optimise efficacy.
Slide nozzle of dosing gun in the side of the mouth and over the tongue
Calibrate equipment and check in good working order before and after use
Don’t fill gun too quickly, to avoid bubble and wrong dosing
