A
single words, phrases, sentences?
compound sentences?subject verb?

A
do they respond to questions
do they confuse words from semantic classes

A
range of functions? asking for info, help, objects, replying making statements providing info conv turns/maintain/initiate

A
slow or fast? pauses between turns? fillers? word subs?

what do you look for in sequencing?
A
do they relate events in sequential fashion? do they discuss recent past or recount stories

What should mlu be? how do you calculate it
A
up to age 5, age will correspond with his or her mlu. ex:4;4 will be 4.3 ish
calulate by dividing morphemes by utterances
