When is the body gear steering active and deactivated?
During taxi:
Above 15kts, and deactivated and centered above 20kts.
During landing: Below 15 kts
During rudder pedal steering is the body gear active, and why?
No, only when the nose gear steering exceeds 20 degrees.
What hydraulic system controls the normal brake system?
Hyd system 4
What hyd systems supplies the nose and body, and what supplied the wing?
System 1 - Nose and body
System 4 - Wing
What is the precharge pressure of the brake accumulator?
800 PSi
During landing, one wheel is skidding during landing. What will the anti-skid do to correct this?
It will release the skidding wheel.
How does the Anti-skid touchdown protection prevent locked wheels during touchdown?
It compares IRS groundspeed to wheel speed.
What does 800Psi brake pressure mean?
That there is insufficient pressure for the brakes.
What are the actions that disarm the autobrakes?
One of the following:
1) Pressing the brake pedals
2) Speed brake lever moved to DN after ground deployment.
3) Any TL advanced after landing
4) Autobrakes selector to disarm.
