- Bhavani
There are 20 names starting from Bhavani and these together are called Sambhavi Vidya. Bhavani means Pranadhara Shakti, as She is the giver of life( Manmada was revived back to life by Amma when Rati Devi prayed fervently to Her, when he was turned into ashes by Lord Shiva) Bhava is Shiva Bhavuni wife Bhavani is Shakthi #9 is considered auspicious in Devi Navrana Pooja. Devi Navrana pooja is done in Sri Chakram and during Navarathri time. If aspirant practices on Parabrahmam, Shiva, Bhavani ( poornathva sankhya 9)great shakti is acquired.
- Bhavanaa Gamyaa
Bhavana : contemplation, cultivating Spirituality Gamyaa : Goal Amma can be achieved by cultivating true intention and contemplation on her name while following the right traditions. Bhavano Upanishad describes SriVidhya. There are many types when in Bhavas; 1. Sabdha (sound) Bhavana, the sound of the mantram 2. Artha(meaning)Bhavana, the meaning of the mantram 3. Brahmi Bhavana is Pooja, Japam, sthothram and doing dhyanam to the idol. 4. Akshara Bhavana, thinking and reciting each letter of the mantram. 5. Maheshwara Bhavana, is when tatwa vicharana( philosophical enquiry) done with roopam(form) and mantram(knowledge) Parabrahma Tatwam is understood. When aspirant is contemplating on God with single pointed focus and with self control, Jeevan Brahmaikya Sthithi is achieved and this is Bhavana Yogam. Devotee should do sadhana with a goal and proper method. Amma will take care of the aspirant when he focuses on the goal and diligently follows the method of sadhana.
- Bhavaaranya Kutarika
Bhava+ aranya+ Kutarika: Bhavaa - worldly existence Aranya - forest Kutarika - axe Samsaram(worldly existence) is filled with desires, attachments etc and is compared to a dense forest filled with thick trees. Amma uses the axe to remove the tress from its roots. When Amma is worshipped with full focus and concentration, She would pull the sadhaka out from the worldly existence(samsaram).
- Bhadrapriyaa
Bhadram : Subham(good) ; Mangalam( auspiciousness) Priyaa - liked, loved Amma likes Subhakaram and Mangalakaram thoughts and words. Amma is the Mangala Swaroopini and She blesses Her devotees with all good fortune. Bhadrudu’s (Shiva) wife is Bhadra( Shakti) Amma always blesses her devotees with good fortune as She is the Sada Sowbhagya Prasad Thalli.
- Bhadramurthi
Bhadramurthi : All Goddesses together in One Form. Amma is the One Goddess comprises of all other Goddesses together. When all the other Goddesses reach this One place, its called the Sarvato Bhadra Mandalam. Bhadram( auspiciousness) is Amma’s prabhavam(effect) and svabhavam(nature). Amma gives us the grace when we worship Her and we should always strive to be in Bhadram state.
- Bhakta Sowbhagya Daayini
Su + Bhagyam = Sowbhagyam( good fortune) Devotees will be blessed with all good fortune when they pray to Amma and no danger can harm them. Taking shelter in Amma, everything will go well for the devotee and She protects them. There are 8 Sowbhagya Ashtanga items listed in Agni puranam and Amma is present in all of these items, they are: Sugarcane, Peepul tree, Cumin, Coriander, Cow Milk, Cow Yogurt, Cow Ghee, Salt, Flowers, Kumkum and Turmeric. Vairagyam is Sowbhagyam. Mental steadiness, courage, detachment and equinimity are all Vairagyam.
- Bhaktipriyaa
Bhakti - devotion priyaa - beloved Love and Devotion are required to see God. Upasana, tatwa vicharana and Vedanta Vicharana requires pure devotion. Rajasic, Tamasic and Satvic Bhakti is not real Bhakti. For moksha, devotion to God is required. Pure devotees are liked by Amma and Bhakti is the foundation for vedanta upasana.
- Bhaktigamyaa
Bhakti - devotion Gamya - goal Bhakti path(margam) consists of Prema(love) and Anuragam(affection). While following Dharma and the love that flows incessantly towards Amma from her devotee is Bhakti. In Bhakti margam(path) the devotee worships his/her Dear God. In Gnana(knowledge) margam(path), doing tatwa vicharana and praying the nirguna Brahman, Gnanam(knowledge) is achieved.
- Bhaktivasya
Bhakti - Devotion vasya - keeping under control or attraction to Amma submits to her devotees pure and sincere love and devotion. Dedicating oneself to God is pure devotion. Real Bhakthi is only love, devotee should not have jealousy and hatred.
- Bhayapaha
Amma dispels the fear of devotees Adyathimika bhayam : fears for body, disease, injury.. Adhibhauthika bhayam: fear from other beings Adhidaivika bhayam: fear of natural forces Duality is the cause of fear; ignorant thinking. When all is Paramatma there is no fear. Dvaita brahanthi should be dispelled with Amma’s grace. Sorrows caused by Jamna, Jara, mruthyu & Vyadhi are dispelled by Devi. With fear there is no progress, health deteriorates. To dispel fear fill the mind will good thoughts and surrender to Amma.
- Sambhavi
Sakthi of Sambhu is Sambhavi Sambhu brings good fortune. Sambhavi mudra is done during Kundalini vidya. Keeping eyes inward on agna chakra, eyeballs upward, slightly unfocused eyes without blinking. Anatarlakshyam, inward focus. 8 yr old kumari puja if done properly confers Sukam Sham : Amma dispels the ahankara in the heart of devotees; rescues devotees from Bhava Sagaram Brahma anubhava rupini confers anandam
- Saradaradhya
Sarada - Saraswati - the goddess of knowledge and communication. The Goddess worshipped in Saradrtu(fall/winter) is Sarada. When the rains come the pollution is reduced. Likewise in our mind rajas and tamas are also reduced and tatva guna increase during this season. It is a good time to turn our thoughts towards Amma.
- Sarvani
Sarva’s love is Sarvani Sarva is Bhoomi Rupudu - guise of the earth All living beings are born, bred and die in the Iswara. Sukesi is another name; There is no difference between Sarva and Sarvani
- Sarmadayani
Sarma means happiness (brahma anandam) She is the giver of divine bliss; This doesn’t refer to material pleasures but eternal happiness. Happiness is given through knowledge
- Sankari
The namalu Sankari to Santimati are Bhavani Anga devatalu. Sham, sukam, sivam Sukam is given by siva; his sakti is Sankari. They are the mother and father of the universe, giver of happiness to their children.
- Srikari
Amma is Anugraha Swaroopam Sri = Wealth, happiness. Amma as Srikari bestows wealth, happiness, chastity and to her devotees. Ammavaru vidya is Srividya. All auspicious things are given by Ammavaru Srikari. All 8 forms of wealth, liberation and Brahmagnanam is acquired by worshipping Ammavaru. Srikarudu is Vishnu and Srikari is Amma who is Lord Vishnu’s sister, they both are not different from each other.
- Saadhvi
A woman who worships her husband as God and does rituals(vrathams) and follows to be a MahaPativrata is called Saadhvi. Sa + Adhva excellent + path is the samayacharam. Following the goal of good traditions is also the path to reach Ammavaru. She’s the vedamatha, Upasya Brahma and Jagadamba. Amma is also represented as Silavathi. Sadhuvu is the masculine, Saadhvi is the feminine form. Ammavaru and Lord Shiva are always together and indivisible.
- Sharatchandra Nibhanana
Ananamu = face Sharad ruthuvu(season) moon is like Ammavaru’s face. During Sharad season, moon is very pleasant and clear. Amma’s roopam is complete and is divine bliss. Face is the index of the mind. Manas is Amma svabhavamu and Amma’s manas is Gnanandam and is shining with Paripoorna Gnanandam.
- Shatodari
Shatodari and Shantimati, both these names is about Amma’s murthi dhyanam. Shatodari means, woman with a slim waist. Also Shatodari is the daughter of Himavantha( mountain king). There are countless number of caves on the Hima mountain, and Himavantha is the King of that mountain.
131.Shantimati
Shanti + mati = peaceful mind Amma always has a peaceful mind and this is the gnanam sthithi. Paramatma Swaroopam is Shantham(peaceful) Wherever there is Shantham there’s never any worldly disturbances or chaos. In Srichakram there are 8 avaranas(compound walls) that belong to the world, 1. Shrigaram(beauty); 2. Bhayanakam(fear); 3. Bhibatsam(destruction); 4. Adhbhutam(wonder); 5. Karuna(compassion); 6. Hasya rasam(humor); 7. Veera rasam(courage); 8. Raudram(anger) The 9th avarana or the top of the Srichakram, in the bindu is where Ammavaru resides in complete Parama Shantham(gnana sthithi). Amma is the chaitanyam(energy) and She’s beyond all these avaranas.
- Niraadhara
Niraadhara to Neeraga Raagamadani, these names talk about the Gneya Brahma Varnana, that is “realization of Brahma through meditation”. Also called Sri Gayatri svapura varanam. Ammavaru’s chaitanyam is always present. Due to this presence there are all these modifications or changes in the world. Spiritual aspirant should be in this world and aspire for Nirvikara Brahma (formless Brahma). Vedanta says that to acquire Nirvikara Brahma is not an easy task. Sadhaka by worshipping Saguna Akara(with form) we can achieve the Nirguna (formless) Paramatma , with Ammavaru’s grace. Suddha Paratatwam is described as Satyam, Gnanam, Anantam, Brahma. Amma is limitless and She’s the support for the entire universe but she needs no support. Amma is the Sarvadhara Chaitanyam.
- Niranjana
anjanam = kajal; something that sticks; coating Ammavaru does not stick to anything, in other words She has no attachments. Ammavaru does not have Avidya Samparkam. Shiva and Shakti always together like Lord Shiva is the light and the illumination from the light is Ammavaru. Vedanta says that Atma Tatwam is very difficult to follow. Atma, Brahmam and Paramatma are One. Upanishads talk about Brahmam, Vedanta talks about Atma and Bhagavatulu talk about Bhagwan, to make us understand that there is only One ParaBrahma Swaroopam. Tatwic Roopam is the Gneya Roopam which in turn is Ammavaru.
- Nirlepa
lepanam = coating Amma has no attachments and She is beyond the Bhava Bandalu. Ammavaru is not attached to the Karma Sambandalu, like a water drop on a lotus leaf.
- Nirmala
malinyam = dirt Maya is also malinyam(dirt) but it cannot affect Ammavaru. There are 3 kinds of malinyam(dirt): 1. from previous births( vasanas) 2. Vasanas(karmas) from this birth 3. mental attachment to something and getting karma from it (samparka malinyam). Spiritual aspirants should concentrate on Ammavaru with Chitasuddhi.
- Nitya
Ammavaru is without change, eternal. (adhi, madhya and antam) is the change but not Ammavaru. Atma is avinashi, Amma always resides inside of atma. Deha(body) is Anitya and Atma is Nitya. Lalitha Parameshwari is always the same in all 5 states( jagrutha, swapna, nidra, turiya and turiya athitha).
- Niraakara
Ammavaru has no form. Vasinyadi Vagdevathulu have mentioned that Ammavaru has form, but in reality Ammavaru has no form,niraakara (without a form). Ammavaru took a form for her devotees and Rishis were blessed to see this magnificient form as they have followed the sastras. If sadhaka follows the same sastras like the rishis, we can also see Ammavaru and get Kaivalyam. The energy that we see in this entire Universe is Ammavaru and its hard to give a form to such vast spreading energy. Supreme Shakti( Maha Maya) with her yoga shakti has formed into Ammavaru roopam that we all are aware of to take us, the sadhaka from Saguna roopam to Nirguna Roopam.

Without agitation; unruffled.

Beyond the three gunas: Rajas, Tamas, Sattvic; Qualities are creations of the mind. She is pure conciousness, devoid of them.

In this dream world, she reminds us of iswara.

Peaceful or waveless ocean of nectar; Devotee becomes peaceful with her worship; Devoid of all action

Amma is Gnana swaroopini and Chit Swaroopini. Amma is filled with energy(knowledge through energy). She’s awake through all the 4 states.
- Niravadya
Amma is without any defects. She’s Permanent and helps her devotees from avadya(defects)
- Nirantaraa
antaraa : obstacles Amma is without any obstacles. She’s the Akandam(indivisible) and Anantham(endless) energy(Shakti Swaroopini). Amma is undifferenciated
- Nishkaranaa
Amma has no cause. She’s the cause for everything
- Nishkalankaa
Amma is free of blemish. Amma is always Chitam, Satyam and Anandam.
- Nirupaadhi
Without any Upadhi (limitation) Maya is Iswara upadhi; ignorance is jeeva upadhi But Amma is present in all Upadhis and is not restricted to any upadhi. She is limitless
- Nirishwara
Ishwara has control over everything in this universe, but Amma drives Iswara. This is Amma’s Saguna Brahma Swaroopam. She is Supreme Here GnyaBrahman is complete
- Niraga
People suffer from 17 doshalu. Ragam, madam, moham, chinta, ahankaram,bhayam, vikalpam, dvesham,badha, parinamam, bedham,nasyam, parigraham, lobham, kriya, samsayam and papam. Atma sakti is covered up by these doshalu. Pray to Amma to get rid of them. Pairs of names from here represent the Siva & Sakti aspect Niraga: unattached; she can gives all we desire yet she is beyond all attachments.
- Raga-Mathani
Surrender to her to destroy ignorance which will lead to lack of desires. She gives us the right knowledge.
- Nirmada
She doesn’t have pride.
- Madanasini
Our sorrows are caused by our pride. She removes prides from her devotees.
- Nischinta
Without worry or anxiety; She will remove devotees chinta or worry. We also have to try our best to rise above the three gunas through atma vichara. She will then lead us to a state of nischinta.
- Nirahankara
Egoless; She changes us with mercy, love and compassion to drop our egos.
- Nirmoha
Without delusion of what is real/unreal
- Mohanasini
False identification with the body, forgetting the atma. She will destroy the moham, lead us from darkness in our hearts to light and grant us Atma sakshatkaram.
- Nirmama
Without selfishness.
- Mamata hantri
Mamakaram - “myness” She will remove all deha, indriya mamakaralu and give us Swaswa roopa gnyanam
- Nishpapa
Papam: Not doing what should be done and doing what shouldn’t be done. Root cause of dukham is papam. So remove papam to be rid of sorrow. Mistakes that are repeated are sins.
- Papa nasini
If you repent and surrender she will remove your papalu. Call her “Jagadamba” and she will immediately respond. She protects her devotee from annihilation.

Amma seeing our best efforts at chitta-suddhi will root out the krodham.

Greedless; She is generous

If we focus single pointedly with bhakti on Amma, she will look on us with daya and rid us of doubts.

Destroys the cycle of birth and death; release from samsara. She is called Tarini- “cross over”. She helps us cross over the Samasara Sagaram. If you do the Navratri puja with devotion and correct procedure, you as well as 10 generations of your ancestors will reap the benefits of moksham.

Swagatheya bedham: Differences in a human organs All things in the world have differences, but atma is undifferentiated. When you realize you are atma there are no differences.
Bhedanasini
Abedha Upasana: Looking upon Sakti & Iswara as having no difference. Praying to Amma will eventually lead to Advaita bhavam.
Nirnasa
Deathless; Amruta murthi; immortal
Mruthumathani
She destroys our ignorance of real vs. temporary. Till you realize that you are Atma there is only death. When you identify with the Atma you are immortal. Body identification leads to death. Listen to Veda Saram constantly to let it seep into you and teach you that you are the atma through constant repitition. Once ignorance is removed, papalu will also be removed.
Nishkriya
Beyond all action. Through her sheer presence all things are born, live and die. She is a witness, no action.
Nisparigraha
She takes nothing since she needs nothing, she is purna or complete. Taking wanting things even mentally is like stealing. Do not let them in to your mind which will lead to desire. Atma Tatvam ends here. Durga Upasana begins with the next verse.
Nistula
Unequalled. Without comparison. Saguna and Nirguna is both Amma
Neela Chikura
She has black thick hair, she is always 16 years of age Sambhavi is 8 years, Bala is 9, Durga is 16 years.
Nirapaya
Beyond all danger; Upadhis are subject to danger, chaitanyam is beyond danger. 5 Appayalu: Vidya, dhana, arogya, prana. Vidya appayam is unable to recall something you know at the appropriate time. Humility teaches us that all is Amma’s doing and leads to lack of appayalu. She knows exactly how much or little a devotee needs and she takes/gives accordingly with precise measure.
Niratyayaa
Description Of Amma’s Qualities will be done from this namam onwards. atyayam means to surpass the rules.There’s no one who can go beyond Amma or can surpass Amma. There are 4 kinds of atiyayalu 1) dandinchatam - to be punished 2) dosham - faults 3) nasham - to be destroyed 4) athikastam - extremely difficult None of these atiyayalu applies to Amma as She is Jagadamba.
Durlabha
alabha : is to find durlabha means, something that can be found with lot of difficulty. Atma tatwam is not found easily, to achieve that we need to control our mind and sense organs. Sravana, Manana and Nidhidhyasana should be practiced all the time. Atma tatwam can be understood when we do Abhyasa with Gnana and Vairagya. To achieve Amma, one should possess strong body and mind, and only these kind of fit people come under the category of adhyatmic field.
Durgama
To reach Amma or achieve Her is not an ordinary task and to realize that state, mind and word are very important. Paratatwam has no body or upadhi, its abstract and hence its called Durgama. Another interpretation is that the meaning of Durgam is Fort. Amma protects Her children from enemies and gives protection and shelter to them all the time acting as a fort. The 3rd interpretation for Durgama is that there are 3 ways to reach Amma. Amma has 3 roopams 1) Boudhika Roopam - physical form 2) Kamakala Roopam - subtler than physical form 3) Kundalini Roopam - subtlest form( athisookshma) Chit Swaroopini Amma cannot be achieved by just worshipping Her physical form, rather by Kamakala roopam and Kundalini Roopam. Atma Tatwam can be achieved by doing all 3 aradhanas.
Durgaa
“Du” means bad or evil and Durga means the remover of all evils. When we pray to Amma earnestly calling Her Durgamma, She will come and protects us that next moment. Life is filled with many negative forces and Amma will remove them when we worship Her. In Upanishads, Amma is callled the BrahmaVidyaSwaroopini In Karma Khanda, She’s called Karmaphala Pradayini. In Yajnas, if agni is Parameshwara Swaroopam and then the energy is Durgaa. The Gnana Agni inside us is called Durgamma. Durgamma always protects Her devotees and help them cross the ocean of samsara. There are 11 bad qualities and Amma helps and protects us from those 11 bad qualities when we surrender to Her in word, thought and deed. The 11 qualities are: 1. Daitya; 2. Maha Vigna; 3. Dukha; 4. Roga; 5. BhavaBandha 6. Janma Parampara; 7. Maha Bhaya; 8. Kukarma; 9. Soka 10. Naraka; 11. Yama Danda. Amma not only helps humans but also helps devathas(Gods) and paradevathas(demi gods). Durgaa is the ultimate Paratatwam. Amma sits in the Bindu sthanam in ManiDweepam. Amma is also called Trilochini as She has Surya(Sun God) in her right eye, Chandra(Moon God) in Her left eye and Agni(fire) in her center eye. The 3 namas (Durlabha, Durgama, Durga) are defining Amma.
Dukhahantri
Kham means experience. Dukham is enduring sorrow. Sukham is happiness. Humans experience pain living in the material world. Samsaram means attachment and delusion. There’s always pleasure between 2 sorrows. Amma will destroy Dukham if we lose the body identification and will attain happiness and sorrows will be burnt. When the sorrow born out of ignorance is destroyed then Apavargham(Moksham) is achieved. Apavargham is when there’s no Pavargham. Pa : papa and punyalu Pha : Phalamu Ba : bandhamu Bha : bhayam Ma : maranam True Sukham is when a person is devoid of all these 5 (Pa, Pha, Ba, Bha, Ma) Dukhahantri Amma removes all sorrows and gives ultimate Happiness.
Sukhaprada
Sukhaprada can also be said as Mokshaprada. True happiness is achieved when Paratatwam is gained. Amma as Bhooma bestows Brahmananda moksham to Her devotees. Amma blesses Her devotees always with peace and happiness.
Dushta Duura
Amma will stay away from people who do bad things and are sinners.
Durachara Samani
Sadacharam means to follow the traditions prescribed by the Vedas, like doing Gayatri everyday. Amma always protects those who follow sadacharam. Durachara means those to perform rituals or actions that are against the Vedas, and Amma never blesses them and stays away from such persons. Praying to Amma with complete surrender and leaving ego and pride, will please Amma and She will always be with us. Praying Amma with full devotion and heart full of love for Amma and doing one Namskara is sufficient to win her Grace. There are 3 types of ways to achieve Amma: 1) Gnana Margam 2) Karma Margam 3) Bhakti Margam Bhakti margam is recommended and is proven to be successful, as long as its done with no ego and with complete surrender.
Dosha Varjitha
Amma has no doshams. Amma is ever full and no dosham can ever get attached to Amma. Amma is ever free from all the 17 and 6 doshams( asti, jayate, vardhade, uparanamate, apakshiyate, nasyate). Amma is Satchitananda and helps her devotess and removes their doshams who pray Her earnestly. Only Paramatma is Dosha Varjitha. One should pray to Amma after controlling his mind and intellect.
Sarvajna
Saguna Brahma Aradhana starts from this namam. The 6 qualities that make Bhagavanthudu or Bhagavathi to Parabrahma Swaroopam are: 1. Omniscient(Gnanaroopini), complete 2. independence(swatantratha), 3. She’s always present( nityatha), 4. Complete( sampoornatha), 5. No begining or Ending(Ananthatha) 6.Beginingless(anadhibodha) Amma is not bound by time, space and She’s everywhere as Paramatma. Humans possess Kinchidagnatha and Amma possesses Sarvajnatha
Sandrakarunaa
saandratha means concentrated or dense compassion Amma has only Karuna(compassion) and Kindness towards Her devotees. World is filled with Amma’s energy(chaitanyam) in the form of compassion. Amma has no form or name and She took up a form and name to bless Her devotees. Amma is always with us, in and around us to protect us all the time. Amma gives life to us in the form of sunlight and also created the 5 elements to take care of world. We should always hold Amma’s feet with complete surrender and She will bless us.
Samanadhika Varjitha
Samana + Adhika + Varjitha = Amma is beyond equality and is left by her There’s no equal or beyond Amma. Everything is below Amma and She’s Parabrahmam, Ekameva Advaitiya Brahma. Amma is Supreme. Navarana Mantralu Sanketalu: Nistula, Neelachikura, Nirapaya, Niratyaya, Durlabha, Durgama, Dukhahantri, Sukhaprada
Sarvashaktimayi
Sakaram, Soumyam and Soundaryam is Amma. There’s no shakti like Amma and has all her Shaktis inside Her. There are 9 avaranas in SriChakram. The 8 avaranas has many shaktis and Amma in the 9th avarana (sitting in the Bindu) is a mixture of all these shaktis. There’s no shakti like Amma. Sarvashaktimayi - Mridapriya, Vanadurga Mala Mantram(Maha Vidya Swaroopam)
Sarvamangala
Mangalakaram is Sukhakaram. Shiva is Sumangaludu and Amma is Shiva’s shakti. Amma is sarva mangala and is present in all the mangalam things. Surya Bhagwan is mangalakudu and his rays are mangalakaram. Early morning sun rays are in crimson red color and are mangalakaram. In nature every mangalakaram stuff should be worshipped. The 5 elements in our universe should be worshipped too as they are mangalakaram and subham. There are things that needs to worshipped as mangalakaram Vedavetha, Cow, Fire, Gold, Ghee, Sun, Punya Stri, Mirror, Shiva Lingam, Salagramam, Turmeric, Kumkum, Milk, Bilvam, Tulasi, Ashvatha Tree, Flowers, Dhaanya rasi and King. Every righteous wish is fulfilled by Amma.
Sadgatiprada
Sadgati means a better place, opposite of Durgati There are 2 kinds of sadgati: Sapeksha Sadgati means to do good deeds and going to heaven. But with this kind of Sadgati, moksha is not attained and persons attain good births and are born again and again, and they do sadhana to get moksham. Nirapeksha Sadgati is without any nirapeksha, that is jeeva brahmaika roopam is Nirapeksha sadgati. when we are born as humans, we should do good deeds, ishta karma and community service and with this kind of action we go to Kailasam, Vaikuntam or ManiDweepam. The way to punya lokam is called Dhooma Margam. Once again they will take good births, need to do sadhana to reach moksham. Devotees follow archaradi margam/Jyothimaya Margam doing nishkama karma, and go to Brahma lokam do sadhana there and later unite with Paramatma. The devotees who are above this adopt Para margam which is Jeevan Mukti in the same birth doing focused nishkama karma.

Sarvamantra Swaroopini
Amma is Srividhya Swaroopini also called Sarvamantra Swaroopini. Nadham and Sabdham is Amma. Amma is the Chief of all the crores of mantras. each devatha resides in each particular mantras and Amma in energy form will be there in front us when we recite these mantras. 51 letters in sanskrit, Amma wears them as a garland. So she is the source of all the mantras. Saraswati Devi is nada rupini amma. Mantra Chaitanyam is devathas. Every letter is amma’s roopam. There are 3 kinds of Veda mantralu 1) Abhicharaka Mantralu that are recited to relieve persons from diseases and pains and has to done righteously. 2) Taraka Mantralu are moksha karaka mantralu and are very important. Brahma Gnanam is achieved by chanting these taraka mantras. 3) Abhistakaraka Mantralu are chanted to fulfill desires. There are Tantric Mantras and Shabara Mantras. All of the above mantras are from Amma and hence called Sarvamantra Swaroopini.

Sarvatantrarupaa
Tantram explains which mantram to chant while using the yantram and also the method of worship. Amma is filled like energy and called Yantratmika. Mantra swaroopam through yantram is told in Tantram.
Manonmani
mana + unmani = manonmani In Parameshawara there are 10 shakthis and the last one is Manonmani. The 10 shaktis are 1) Vaamadeva; 2) Jyesta; 3) Sreshta; 4) Kaala; 5) Kalavikarna 6) Balavikarna; 7) Balayanamaha; 8) Balapramadanaya; 9) Sarvabhutadamanaya; 10) Manonmanaya(shuddha chaitanyam) Unmani is to focus the mind by placing it in the center of the brows. Sadhana, Sadhyam and Sadhakudu is Triputi. All of these shaktis are between Agna and Sahasrara. The place next to the Sahasrara is the Bindu(Amma’s Seat) and is called manonmani. Siddhas experience this state and its only an imagination for regular sadhakas.
Maheshvari
Maha + isvara He is nirguna ( beyond the gunas), controls srishti, sthithi and laya and rules over maya. His patni (wife) is Maheshvari who is also nirguna.
Mahadevi
Paramasiva is Mahadeva. Maha is used to describe the supreme, can only be used to describe Parabrahma. She is higher than all the devathas, so Mahadevi. Mahadevi temple is near Gandaki river, chakra tirtham
Mahalakshmi
Parameshvara sakti is Mahalakshmi; When Siva in Vishnu form maintaining the world (sthithi), his consort is Mahalakshmi. - She can control/rule the world with her vision -When our drishti falls on an object and we acquire it then we are receiving lakshmi in that form. - Mahalakshmi is in all of us - She doesn’t blink otherwise the world will dissolve - She looks upon the world with compassion Kohlapur has Mahalakshmi temple - she is called Ambabai
Mrudapriya
Mrda means Siva or Ananda svarupam She is his priya patni;She spreads her joy/bliss She is 16 yr old (Syama/Adhyalakshmi) and sits on Siva’s left lap. Gokarnam town has a temple of Mahabaleshwara Deva. Next 14 names - Maha tatva swarupa varnalu They contain the Beeja aksharalu Sapta sathilo ni mala mantra visheshyalu are in them
Maharupa
Maharupa is amma’s tatva rupam not physical She is above the prakrithi Maha means the greatest/supreme Four Prakrithi related terms: Purushudu - iswara (as he is thinking of creation) Pradhanam - unmanifested world vyaktham - manifested world kalam - time She is virat svarupam, above all of prakrithi Her radiance illuminates the three worlds; Her crown touches the heaven; her weight shakes up the underworld; her thousand arms and shoulders spread throughout the world. She is faultless and has no beginning or end
Mahapoojya
She is worshipped by Gods and Rushis, she is also know as Amararchitha Murthy. Pooja done by ordinary people lack in some material or bhavana but pooja by Gods is complete and does not lack in anything.
Mahapathakanasini
She removes all sins( committed knowingly or unknowingly, brahmahathya papam etc) of her devotees. There are multiple gods associated to help remove multiple sins. She is a collective form of all these gods, praying to her is equal to praying to all the gods. once a devotee prays to her with repentment and atonement she removes their sins by the roots.
Mahamaya
Parameswar shakthi. Ignorance ( not realizing the truth) and Knowledge is maya. Maya cannot be comprehended and creates illusion of this world. Universe needs Maya. Knowledge is 2 kinds: Paroksha - learned through scriptures Aparoksha - realized through experiance. there is no maya for realized people. Maya pulls down even the most learned. In the 7th month a fetus in mothers womb has the realization that it is not the body and has the knowledge of brahman. This disappears in 9th month when it enters material world.
Mahasatva
She is the collective force. Each individual has intellect ( medha sakthi). All the intellect is from parameswara. sat = pranam, balam, vuniki (existence). she is the main intellect and spreads it around. Based on devotees eligibility she gives/takes away intellect.
Mahasakthi
sakthi = ability, efficiency Her sakthi is uncomparable. Her sakthi is the cause for the whole universe. All gods sakthi is also present in us.
Maharathi
rathi = interest, likes/dislikes She is always interested in Siva dhyanam. good or bad interests are according to sanskaras. Mahatmulu are interested in amma.
Mahabogha
All the luxuries and prosperity is due to her compassion.
Mahaishwarya
All the wealth is hers. Manidweepam and chinthamani description are enough to describe her wealth. Eswari also means one who has dominion. Wealth is based on past actions and is 2 kinds 1. Vibuthulu - Material wealth obtained by sakama karma 2. Eswarathvam - wealth of knowledge that gives Moksham parabrahma is the ultimate wealth.
Mahaveerya
Mahaveerya : reproductive capacity(utpakthi karaka sakti) Amma created the universe and the chaturdasa bhuvanalu. That’s why Amma is called Mahaveerya. Jagath Prasoothika Devi Alankaram is done at the temple during navratris.
Mahabala
Aparimithamaina Mahattara Sakti. Around Sri Chakram Amma is in the center and surrounded by Her massive army. She’s the Mahabala (great strength and great army)
Mahabuddhi
Amma is Sarvagnattwam Swaroopam Thalli. She’s the Buddhi sakthi in everyone. Paratatwa Gnanam or Eashwaragnanam is Mahabuddhi. Amma is the grantor of buddhi and one should always pray Amma to grant him the buddhi.
Mahasiddhi
Siddhis are all Amma Swaroopalu. There are 8 siddhis and are granted by Amma. Amma is also called Siddha Lakshmi, Jaya Lakshmi and Moksha Lakshmi, these are all Her swaroopalu granting Siddhis. (Animaa, Laghima, Garima, Mahima, Eesatwa, Vasitva, Praakamya, Prapti) 8 siddhis. Siddhis should always be used wisely and for righteous deeds. All different kinds of siddhis( vidya siddhi, Karya siddhi) are acquired from Amma after doing intense practice. There are different levels of this practice: 1. Rasoullasa Siddhi : this is the begining level which is acquired by doing stothram and Japam and understanding the essence(meaning). 2. Second Level : Those who practice equanimity, not attached to sorrow or loss. 3. Third Level : This level the sadhaka will understand that all is One and lose the discrimination between good, bad, better etc. 4. Fourth Level : At this level there’s no sorrow, only Bliss and Happiness exists here. There’s not a trace of sorrow at this stage. 5. Fifith Level : Is when sadhaka sits for dhyanam or tapas, no movement or distraction could get his attention. He’s deeply engrossed in dhyanam. 6. Kamachaaritwam or the Final Level : Sadhaka could get into dhyanam anywhere not minding where he is. For him Amma is Sarvavyapini and he could just get into meditation instantly as he’s always connected with Amma.
Mahayogeshwaraeshwari
Yogeshwarudu is Shiva and Amma is His Mahayogeshwaraeshwari. Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Mahesha are the Mahayogeshwaras and Amma is the Eshwari for all 3 Lords. When Mahashambudu does the Mahayagam, he dries out an ocean and then sacrifices all the entire nature and Devathas in to the pit of the ocean, and thus Amma was born from the fire pit(Chidagni Kunda). Hyagreeva Swamy was thus narrating to Maharishi Agasthya about the Mahayagam Kramam and also said that if this narration was heard, the fruits thus dereived are equivalent to several Aswamedha yagam. Bahiryagam is SriChakra Aradhana and Antaryagam is Kundalini Vidya. One should always do both these practices together, and its called Mahayagam. Bahiryagam is to acknowledge our Shakti and Antaryagam is to destroy the ego. Acquiring Amma’s feet is itself a Mahayogam.
