What are ‘social norms’?
Considered to be the rules/behaviors that are accepted by society
A norm can either prescribe a certain behavior or forbid it
It was concluded that it was more likely for parents to change their child’s brushing habits if it was found other parents in that area are brushing their child’s teeth twice a day
