What are Muslims attitudes to the Kutub?
A
All Muslims respect the other Holy Books mentioned in the Qur’an. They believe that originally these were the same revelation as Muhammad’s. However for different reasons these kutubs were distorted, changed, amended or tweaked. This altered Allah’s message and made it necessary for a new kutub – the Qur’an. This was the final revelation, sent in a way that is not distorted. (Remember sent to Muhammad via Jibril)
