- > 90% quad and hamstring strength
- absence of giving way episodes
- participation in 1-2 seasons of pre-injury sport

Clinical signs of meniscus tear
A
- History of catching/locking
- Pain with forced hyperextension
- Pain with maximum flexion
- Pain or audible click with mcmurrays
- Joint line tenderness
