Q

Precision

A

How small the units of measure cents are. For example the number of decimal places any measurement can be recorded is determined by the apparatus used. A pipette has a greater precision than a beaker.

Q

The 3 points in Cell Theory

A

1) All living things consist of cells
2) New cells are formed only by the devision of pre-existing cells.
3) The cell contains information that acts as the instructions for growth. This info can be passed on to new cells

Q

What is meant by staining?

A

Staining is adding a dye to increase the contrast as different components within a cell take up stains to different degrees. This allows the components in the ultrastructure to become visible to be identified.
