-reffered to as a “shull” or a temple
-services are lead by rabbii and usually a contour(singer) who leads

Yad
-means “hand” in hebrew
-The pointer is used by the reader to see their place during a reading of the Torah
-The yad usually has a finger on the end of it

-skull cap
-Worn in public or at home by orthodox Jewish men
-Also known as kippa
-Symbolizes honouring God (God is above you)
-Some people always wear it, most don’t
