“I see a bubbling pot, whose foam is away from the north.” “I see a rod of an almond tree.”

Inagural symbols:

The almond tree is the 1st tree to blossom -> meaning this is going to happen fast.

The bubbling pot from the north - > means that the destruction is going to come from the North. Babylon. Even though they are really east, the route through the fertile crescent brings them down from the north into Judah.

For pass over [to] the isles of the Kittites and see, and send to Kedar and consider diligently, and see whether there was any such thing, Whether a nation exchanged a god although they are not gods. Yet My nation exchanged their glory for what does not avail.

Look at other nations. NOONE switches gods!!! But look at you Israel.

Jeremiah 3:6-7

Have you seen what the backsliding Israel has done? She goes on every lofty mountain and under every leafy tree, and she played the harlot there. And I said after she had done all these things: She shall return to Me. But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw [it].

The two sisters. משובה is Israel and בגודה is Judah. One sister goes whoring and is punished. The other sister sees all of this, and yet does not learn from it. You would think that Judah would have learned from Israel’s fate. But noooooooooooooooooo.

And seek the peace of the city where I have exiled you and pray for it to the Lord, for in its peace you shall have peace.

You’re going to be in exile for a good while. Get comfortable. Don’t just sit and wait. Live, thrive, put down roots.
