Separation Minima for Take off

A

Not permitted take off until:
1. preceding aircraft same runway: cross upwind end or commenced turn or runway longer than 1800m, 1800m ahead (other requirements MTOW less than 7000 kg)
2. preceding landing vacated and taxiing away
3. preceding using other runway cross or stop short
(ATC may issue clearance in anticipation prescribed separation will exist at the time take off roll commenced)

A
Maintain VMC below MVA or MSA/LSALT
Pilot responsible:
- maintain heading/track by ATC
- remain not less than 500 ft above LL of CTA
- visually maintain obstacle clearance
