A specific category of information systems that serve middle management.provides reports on organizations current performance that are used to monitor and control the business and predict future performance. Are not flexible and have little analytical capability

Web interface for presenting integrated personalized content from a variety of source. Also refers to a Web site service that provides an initial point of entry
Digital Dashboard
Displays all of a firm’s key performance indicators as graphs and charts on a single screen to provide a one-page overview of all the critical measurements necessary to make key executive decisions.
Enterprise Applications
Systems that focus on functional areas like executing business processes across the firm and include all levels of management. Allow businesses to become more flexible and productive by coordinating business processes and integrating groups of processes to focus on efficient management of resources and customer service

A contemporary term for data and software tools for organizing, analyzing, and providing access to data to help managers and other enterprise users make more informed decisions
Executive Support System
They address nonroutine decisions requiring judgment, evaluation, and insight, because there is no agreed-on procedure for arriving at a solution. They are used by senior management
Enterprise System / Enterprise Resource Planing (ERP) System
