Q

Let go of mind Body mind body self trying/effort

A

only works if it is easy and if you have fun doing it. That is a major part of your job, having fun! As you already know you cannot force the perception of EuStillness. Trying to be still is an effort. An effort is activity. You cannot do the activity of stillness. Do you see what I mean? You cannot do stillness, you can only be stillness. So make it easy and make it fun.

Q

Whenever you like you can have the thought, Am I wearing my coat, and is it keeping me warm? Immediately your awareness effortlessly shifts to your coat and you know it to be there. Then you become aware that the coat is keeping you warm.

A

The coat is like EuStillness, and the warmth is like Eufeeling. Once your mind is accustomed to it, which could be almost immediately, it becomes aware of both the coat and the warmth at the same time. You come to know the stillness that underlies and unifies the joy of being fully human.

Q

In fact, you cannot force it or try to make it work. It only works if it is almost effortless. I say almost because, in the beginning, you must become aware enough to become aware of EuStillness, and this extra step requires some shift of attention from whatever you are doing to EuStillness.

A

•Become aware of your whole body. •Become aware of EuStillness in your whole body. •Become aware of EuStillness in everything, all around you. •Become aware of Eufeeling…

But nothing, as it turned out, is the riches, some say humanity’s greatest treasure. We learned that everything has form and energy. When form disappears, there is nothing. When energy disappears, there is stillness. We then discovered that the perception of stillness has a powerful healing effect, and that the perception of EuStillness has the greatest influence on health, harmony, and all- around quality of life.

A

within every object, thought, and emotion, everywhere you will find EuStillness.

Eustillness mini med technique keeps EuStillness and Eufeeling vibrating in your awareness all day long.

Q

I am not the mind
I am no mind
I am not the current thought of the thinking
I am no thought and no thinking

I am not the physical body
I am no thing

There are no one else that is alive.
I am no one and the only one

I am not the human mind.
I am not the human consciousness

A

My consciousness is absolutely all there is of all there is. Only my Consciousness exists—there is no existence apart from, or beyond, this one and only Consciousness. As my Consciousness is All or One—It thus is not a higher Self, but my only Self. Reality is a matter of looking out from the Allness of the One Self, Consciousness, rather than looking up to It as a lesser consciousness or personal self. The Self never looks up to Itself—and the Self really is the only One being conscious or alive in the first place. One is free to enjoy being, rather than constantly struggling to become. Consciousness Is All is written from this “viewpoint.”

Q

the functioning of the “human mind” generally is said to consist of the activity of the five senses, as well as the thinking and emotions that are related to what the senses sense. The term “mind” as used here does not mean the brain. The mind appears to involve processes—such as thinking, the experiencing of sensations, emotions, etc. The mind, or that which is mental, seems to be an activity, distinct from a brain which would be an organ of the body.

A

All of the mind’s forms are finite because they are somehow noticeable or observable—and all of them seem to be experienced in passing time.

What matters is that not one of the mind’s so-called observable forms itself is conscious. Nor are any of these mental forms infinite, measureless. None of this finite mental activity of the so-called “mind” is the same as pure Infinite Consciousness Itself, being—which is the only Consciousness there is. So to avoid confusion when referring to these finite forms of experience on the level of the “mind,” the terms finite sense, or finite “sense-mind” are used instead of “consciousness.” Only by starting on the level of a sensing human mind would one find forms, finite-ness, opposites and duality.

Q

When one is not experiencing sensations, thinking, and emotions, one is said to be “unconscious.” That’s the mistake. Sensations, thinking and emotions are not actually conscious. Sensations, thinking and emotions would be only reactions on the level of the “mind.” That activity would be only what one appears to be conscious of. None of that is pure Consciousness Itself, though that activity always has been mistakenly called “consciousness.” Just be specific about what is referred to. You’ll confirm for yourself that what stops functioning in such cases is the operation of the five senses; the body’s neurological system, the “body mind,” or so-called finite human “sense-mind.”

A

It is only the experiencing of the five forms of sensation, thinking, and emotions that makes up the entire human sense of time. There’s absolutely no evidence of time without these.

Memory is merely the projected thought of people, objects, places, feelings;

Consciousness as It is being doesn’t involve thinking; so It doesn’t involve memory or project thoughts of past or future. It is a state of pure Is. Consciousness simply never leaves being present—and one cannot have a memory of the present. As It is present only, Consciousness Itself never jumps back or ahead in time, past or future. Thinking seems to project thoughts of past or future, but that’s thinking doing that, not Awareness being. Awareness cannot have a memory of having been. Why? Its only state is that of being present. Because Awareness changelessly is, It can’t become something that was.

Q

The third definition of ego, the “I” notion, relates exclusively to human beings because they are the only embodied beings that think.

A

Human beings entertain all sorts of ideas about who they are. “I am rich, poor, gay, straight, intelligent, stupid, good, bad, Republican, Democrat,” etc. The list of identities that humans are capable of concocting is virtually limitless. All these identities are limited and fall under two categories: I am a knower or I am a doer/enjoyer. The doer is someone who identifies with an activity and thinks it is solely responsible for its actions, gross and subtle. The doer is a doer for the sake of the results of its actions— which it wishes to enjoy. When a doer enjoys the result of its actions, it becomes an enjoyer. The knower is the one who identifies with what it experiences and knows.

30
Q

There is no 5 senses thoughts and emotions.

Look closely at how the mind works. It takes the passing of time to think thoughts. It takes time to experience sensations: to see sights, hear sounds, and to touch, taste and smell. It takes time to feel emotions, and even to have psychic experiences. Yet all such things that move and pass in time are only what you seem to be aware of. None of that is Awareness Itself. Awareness as It is being isn’t passing in the flow of time with those things. Pure Awareness is changelessly present.

A

Right now, what is it to simply be this pure Consciousness, all by Itself alone, distinct from all sensations and all emotions and thoughts—even all thoughts about Consciousness?
Notice how all things that Consciousness appears to be conscious of, even the body, are identified.

30
Q

no attention is given to thoughts, sensations, or emotions

It’s actually a very definite pattern of energy or vibration. For that matter, sounds, sights, touches, tastes and smells all are forms of vibration, too.

A

What it all boils down to, is looking for a particular frequency. What’s being sought is a type of vibration. Yet radio frequencies, even the widest range of them, are but a tiny fraction of the full spectrum of all possible types of frequencies or vibration. Breathing is essentially a type of vibration; emotions and thoughts are vibration; the color red is vibration; clouds are vibration; the human aura is vibration—yet can any of these be received via radio?

awareness emptiness unknowing And they stand in opposition relatively speaking to two views: the view that the self exists the view that objects exist

A

Let us start with the sense of self and objects: When we are born, we have an innate sense of “I”, or identity. Before we see anything else, we see our thoughts. We take these as “I”. They emerge out of our mind and disappear back into it. It appears to us that we will them into being, and that they follow the desires of our heart. They then constitute the frame of reference we have for ourselves and the outlying world. Then we perceive our feelings or reactions, and interpret these as “I”. Internal feelings like pleasure, pain, love and fear are identified as interpreted as mental, whereas images, sounds, smells, flavors and tactile sensations are interpreted as physical. These, too, are taken as “I”. Then, on this basis, we construct the following two ideas: an individual self, composed of a body and mind, inhabiting space and enduring through time an external world, composed of matter and other bodies and minds (also in space and time) Thus we have self and other, inner and outer, our life and its environment, friend and foe. Naturally, there are certain drives and desires within us. These can be defined as psychological and biological, but there is really no difference: the body and mind are ultimately not two, distinct things. They are both phenomena which occur in awareness. When these desires are satisfied, we experience pleasure. Unsatisfied, they give rise to pain. With

35
Q

They say, in contrast: There is no “I”. There is no “world”. There is no self or other. Desires aren’t here. Nor are fears, or opinions, or ideas. Pains aren’t here, nor are pleasures. A body isn’t here, nor is a mind.

anything to hold on to, or let go?

A

Without thoughts, it is in constant meditation. Without feelings, it is in constant equanimity a high beyond pleasure and pain. Without memories, it has no history, no past. Without a personality, it is free of all the sorrows and anxieties that attend personal life. It is free . This, then, is what you are: a timeless, spaceless, bodiless, mindless, formless being
Attentionless energyless. You are experience itself, and though the entire world may occur “inside” or “within” experience, it does not define you. You are not defined by your face, your hair, your body, your experiences or anything that you can perceive. You are beyond them. They are not your true definition. Your most fundamental truth is free of everything, even now it, as you, never suffered. It never fled and it was never lost. It is and was always you , perfectly empty of everything you can know, perceive or imagine.

Everyone you know is one and the same thing. Everything you see is one and same thing. Everything that has ever been, is now, or will ever be is one and same thing. There’s only one thing that makes up everything we see, hear, think and feel. What we do with this knowledge or don’t do is up to each of us. That’s it. End of story. Take a deep breath.

39
Q

There is only one kind of thing that makes up us and everyone else. The test is to see if it is true is if this explanation of the world we know will ALWAYS helps us in dealing with whatever happens to, through and around us. Always. No exceptions, no other rules. If there are two things, or three things, then the rule isn’t the rule. But there is only one thing and you can test it by looking for you in whatever you’re looking at.

A

When we’re in the zone; when we feel FULL of the energy that must always be available in endless supply, we know the truth of our connection, our integration, our sameness to everything that is. It can appear that senses are heightened, we have confidence in whatever faces us and have endless certainty of right action. Our shoulders are back, our stride lengthens, the birds are singing and we on top of the world. It all makes sense and there is nothing to fear, nowhere to go, and we happily swing our arms to the rhythm of the universe. And we can stay here as long as we want. Everything can see be seen from this perspective. Our family, our friends, our coworkers, the beautiful sunset, children playing, a flat tire, slipping on the sidewalk, all part of the beauty of life. We laugh, oh how we laugh. All of the good stuff feeds us joy; none of the bad stuff bothers us. It all actually seems to be a little magic, even if our pants are torn, our souls are solid. But when we’re ‘burdened’, feel oppressed inside our own skin, everything and everyone feels strange to us; hurtful, fearful. When I’ve chosen to be burdened or to think I’m burdened by all of life’s apparent troubles, I’ve felt a person’s touch to be numbing. It’s at this level where people claim to feel no connection at all. The one thing that IS, feels distant at best and more likely – a fable that can’t be believed. At the worst, we decide there IS NO connection and we are a separate being. All alone again, (sing it with me) naturally. And we can stay there as long as we want.
