emotional states and our heart rhythms. When we have negative emotions (such as anger and fear), our heart rhythms become erratic and disorganized. In contrast, positive emotions (love and joy, for instance) produce highly ordered, coherent patterns that HeartMath researchers refer to as heart coherence.

Q

Brain wave and heart vibration

A

Only when subjects held both heightened emotions and clear objectives in alignment were they able to produce the intended effect. An intentional thought needs an energizer, a catalyst—and that energy is an elevated emotion. Heart and mind working together. Feelings and thoughts unified into a state of being. If a state of being can wind and unwind strands of DNA in two minutes, what does this say about our ability to create reality? What the HeartMath experiment demonstrates is that the quantum field doesn’t respond simply to our wishes—our emotional requests. It doesn’t just respond to our aims—our thoughts. It only responds when those two are aligned or coherent—that is, when they are broadcasting the same signal. When we combine an elevated emotion with an open heart and a conscious intention with clear thought, we signal the field to respond in amazing ways. The quantum field responds not to what we want; it responds to who we are being.

that how you think and how you feel create a state of being. I want you to understand that when I use the terms state of being and state of mind, your physical body is a part of that state. In fact, as you will see later on, many people exist in a state in which the body has “become” the mind, when they are ruled almost exclusively by the body and how it feels. So when I talk about the observer having an effect, it is not just the brain that is at work influencing matter, but the body as well. It is your state of being (when mind and body are one), as an observer, which has effects on the external world.

usual” future. Isn’t it ironic that to influence your reality (environment), heal your body, or change some event in your future (time), you have to completely let go of your external world (no thing), you have to release your awareness of your body (no body) … you have to lose track of time (no time)—in effect, you have to become pure consciousness. Do that, and you have dominion over the environment, your body, and time. (I affectionately call these the Big Three.) And since the subatomic world of the field is made purely of consciousness, you cannot enter any other way than via pure consciousness yourself. You cannot walk through the door into the quantum field as a “somebody”; you must enter as a “no body.”

Stage 2: After Integration, The Centerpoint At this stage, you no longer think in linear terms, with your soul “above” your body, your body “below” your mind, or people outside you, “over there.” Your position is not so relational. You are stable, always in the center of a field of consciousness- and- energy, which you now experience as existing spherically around you in all directions. What you’re aware of in any given moment is inside the sphere with you, and there is nothing beyond the sphere. In many metaphysical and spiritual traditions, there is a special spot in the center of the brain, often identified as the pineal gland or the root of the third eye , that is considered to be the centerpoint of consciousness and higher vision in the body. It is a connecting link between the physical and nonphysical worlds, and has played an integral role through the ages in developing intuitive abilities. The pineal gland manufactures melatonin, controls the various biorhythms of the body, and is activated by light ! It may indeed be the intersection point of your vertical and horizontal brain- flows, and with the right kind and amount of attention it may help you leap to a new level of consciousness. When you achieve integration of your brain, you may suddenly feel energy and light radiating from this spot, as though it’s a tiny white hole through which the diamond light of your soul enters the physical world. You can also intentionally focus your attention on this powerful centerpoint and activate it with the principles of neuroplasticity. By doing this regularly, perhaps as part of a meditation practice, you can increase the frequency of your consciousness and accelerate the integration of your brain functioning.

A

Stage 3: After the Centerpoint, Multiple Centerpoints The centerpoint in your head lets you perceive yourself as a soul with higher consciousness. Looking out from here, you can sense thoughts and wisdom radiating from you in all directions. After that, another shift spontaneously occurs: your point of view moves via resonance to another important center— your heart. Your viewpoint has descended a bit further into the physical world, and you now know yourself as a soul with enlightened sensitivity and feeling. You can look out from this vantage point and feel consciousness- and- energy radiating in all directions, producing the experience of love, compassion, and empathic communion. It’s not uncommon then to shift even further down in the body via resonance and feel the centerpoint at the base of the tailbone— where mystics say the serpent of the kundalini energy is coiled. This centerpoint gives you the experience of being physical, of understanding all animals and forms of life on earth. If you look out from this vantage point and feel consciousness- and- energy radiating in all directions, you’re likely to understand the vastness of the vital force itself. Now an amazing thing happens. You suddenly feel yourself in the center— as the center— of everything and anything . This is the beginning of holographic perception. You gain a different sense of self: you are the centerpoint of the entire unified field of consciousness- and- energy, no matter what position you take, no matter where you go, and you can always know the whole. In other words, the center of anything is the center of everything . You might then experiment with being in the center of anything so you can know the world from other perspectives. You aren’t limited to just one center but have access to multiple centerpoints and endless ways to understand reality. Having multiple centerpoints allows you to experience yourself as the soul focused in the center of higher vision in the brain, in the center of love in the heart, in the center of vital force at the tailbone, and in the center of each organ, each chakra, and each cell— they are all points of view and frequencies of perception for your soul. And each reveals its own kind of understanding. You can be the whole body as a unified brain center, and you can be the centerpoint in the middle of the earth, knowing yourself as a global mind.

Q

Stage 4: After Multiple Centerpoints, The Field Yet another shift occurs when you realize you can be in any centerpoint and a spherical field of consciousness- and- energy will occur around you, giving you access to the entire unified field. Now you experience yourself as a spherical field of consciousness- and- energy projected from the centerpoint . Your centerpoint becomes a big, living reality that you may first experience as your own personal field of consciousness- and- energy— your aura. Picture a balloon blowing up around you, then shrinking back down to a point in your core, then blowing up again. You remain in the centerpoint as the nucleus but also feel yourself as the entire field of what’s being encompassed; you know everything that’s included inside the spherical field, and you can make it as big or as small as you want. Exhale and your world appears, inhale and your world dissolves. Another interesting aspect of this stage is that this field of consciousness- and- energy, your new self, contains all possible centerpoints, all possible ways of knowing, all possible experiences of self. You can move into any of them and still know everything.

A

Now instead of thinking life is separate from you, you experience it as occurring inside you. The further you allow your consciousness to radiate, the higher your frequency becomes, the larger your sphere becomes, and the more time, space, and knowledge your personal field, or your reality, includes. You see that you are part of the unified field, and if you want to, you can expand to become the entire unified field. You understand how the field is your original master organ of perception . You experience yourself as all the centerpoints and the field simultaneously. Wow! This is the stuff mystical experience has always been made of, but now it is to become the stuff of normal life. Though it may seem dizzying, you can have all these leaps of perception today and still be your physical self. You’re living the experiment of creating an enlightened life on an enlightened earth. In part 2 we’ll discuss ways you can speed and ease your transformation. Out of the old, and into the new! The body of heaven is extremely high. Open, round, immeasurable, it is boundlessly vast. Covering everything, containing everything, it produces myriad beings without presuming on its virtue, it bestows blessings on myriad beings without expectation or reward.

Sensations

19
Q

Relation to body or consciousness

A

Thinking may seem to be inside the body, but not awareness. And both thinking and the body are found only in awareness. Actually, Life’s raw awareness itself never says anything, not even “everything is within awareness.” Life’s awareness simply is aware. Keep it raw. Life’s awareness does not have to strain or do anything
