How do Issues end up in the Incident, SR,etc .. specific queues
A
They are categorized using Request Type to Work Category assignment. i.e. an issue opened without a request type will never show there

What happens to an issue opened without any request type ?
A
Not visible in any Work Category queues
Specific JSM features not available (e.g. incident > Major Incident or Change Calendar)
