What is the difference between a non conformity and a major non conformity?
Non - Conformity:
Non fulfillment of a specific requirement.
MAJOR non - conformity:
- Poses serious threat to 3 P’s
-Requires Immediate corrective action from management

Difference between Inspection, Audit, Survey?
Inspection : Port state checking compliance of conventions
Audit : Ensuring you would pass inspection
Survey : Leads to issuing of certificate
What is masters authority?
Master can override companies policies if necessary for safety of 3 P’s.
