Static - Info upon installation
Changed: Changes name / MMSI, ship conversion
Dynamic - Navigational status
Automatically updated by sensors
Voyage - Manually updated and changed
(Crew, passengers, towing, port)
When should AIS be activated?
Underway or at anchor.
DYNAMIC INFO should be periodically checked.
What 3 checks need to be done?
SOG
Positions acc. to WGS84
