Q

Describe two differences between the pillars of Islam and the obligatory acts

A

1) For Shi’a, the shahada isn’t as important. Tawallah (being loving towards Allah) is considered more important.
2) Shi’a believe that they should both discourage bad behaviours (Nahi Anil Munkar) and encourage good ones (Amr-bil-Maruf)
3) They also believe that they should dissociate from the enemies of Allah as this distracts them from doing good (Tabarra)
