Q

What does immunohistochemistry look at?

A
  • confirms its a lymphoma (helps subclassify!)

16
Q

How does cytogenetic analysis work?

A
  • seeks patterns of chromosome abnormality in certain lymphomas !
  • —FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridisation)
17
Q

How does molecular analysis work?

A
  • patterns of GENE expression (looks at genes that are switched both ON or OFF)
  • —helps to further classify LYMPHOMA (important ! for RX)
18
Q
