Customer Data related to your organizational structure. You can have different data for different sales area, even though you’re taking an order from the same customer and using the same customer number
Ex: Customer May prefer stock to be delivered from plant XY01 when an order is placed in a specific sales area. Customer may then wish for stock to be delivered from a plant closer to their location XY02 when an order is placed in another sales area

Company Code Data
A Customer master record must also have company-related data. This data is used for financial accounting purposes. A customer master record may exist for more than one company code, for example you have more than one company in your organization and the customer can buy from any of the companies

Sales Organization
An organizational unit which sells and distributes products, negotiates terms of sale and is responsible for transactions
• Can only belong to one company code
• You can define your own sales document types to be limited to within a sales org

Salespersons
Individual personnel master records used to manage data about salespersons
• You can assign a salesperson to a sales group in the personnel master record
Company Code
Legally independent unit and entity in Accounting
• Organizational unit
• a business can have multiple CCs
• one or more sales organizations are assigned to a CC
Plant
A logistics organizational unit where materials are produced or goods and services are provided
• where production, procurement, and materials planning are executed
• a material may exist in more than one plant
• stock is delivered to a customer from a plant
• availability check is carried out in a plant
• requirements are passed from the sales document into the stock requirements list(a list of production or procurement requirements) of a plant
• one or more plants are assigned to a CC
• one or more storage locations assigned to a plant
Storage location
A storage area for the stock in a plant
Plant 2
- can only exist within one company code
- plant, it’s building, equipment, and stock belong to the legal entity represented by the CC
- plant may have more than one shipping point
Shipping point
Place where deliveries are processed within the plant
• May be assigned to more than one plant
• can be divided into several loading points
• deliveries are created for shipping points
• criterion for delivery creation
• top level or organization in shipping
Deliveries
- usually created using a background job, running the delivery
- initiated from one shipping point
Loading point
An optional subdivision of a shipping point
Ex: A shipping point has 5 loading bays, so you can create 5 loading points to represent each loading bay
• manually entered into the header data of the delivery document
Business Area
A subdivision of a company code for accounting purposes
• Business areas can be assigned based on the plant and division or based on the sales area
