get to inferior alveolar nerve
behind pterygomandibular raphe

numb md molars
needle on buccal shelf to get to buccal nerve
mental nerve block
numbs md premolars and anteriors
go to mental nerve coming out of mental foramen
gow-gates block
numb half md teeth and tongue
get to inferior alveolar nerve near condyle of mandible
posterior superior alveolar nerve block
mx molars - maybe not MB root of 1st molar
nasopalatine nerve block
all mx anteriors
go in through incisive papilla
greater palatine nerve block
numbs half of palate
go back towards greater palatine foramen
middle superior alveolar nerve block
mx premolars, part of 1st molar
infraorbital/anterior superior alveolar nerve block
numb anteriors and premolars on one side
maxillary division nerve block
numb entire half of mx (including lips)
up to greater palatine nerve
