Severe gripping colicky pain with periods of ease 
Abdominal distension
Frequent vomiting (it may be bile-stained or faeculent)
Absolute constipation

Abdominal distension with generalised tenderness
May see visible peristalsis
Tinkling bowel sounds
Peritonitis Signs
