What is a semitone?
The smallest interval in western music.
What is the flat?
It’s look like a “b”and it lowers the note by a semitone.
What is a sharp?
it looks like a “#” and it raises a note by a Semitone
What is a tone
It is the interval twice as wide as the semitone
What is a natural?
It restores the note to its original pitch.
What is a double flat?
It looks like a “bb” and it lowers a note by tone.
What is an interval?
It is the difference in pitch between two notes.
What is a double sharp?
It looks like an X and it raises a note by a tone.
What are accidentals?
There are signs placed immediately before the note they effect and on the same level of the stave.
Why is there not a black note between B and C and E and F?
Because E and F and B and C are only a semitone part whereas every other note is a tone apart.
