Elon Musk’s SpaceX’s attempt at a global internet. As of March 2020 they have launched 240 internet satellites over the USA and Australia planning to launch another 60 satellites every two weeks for years to come

Star Link is boasting 1GB/ sec speeds (that’s 20x faster internet speeds then NBN) and 20-30ms latency

Starlink is ment to start offering internet services in 2021

It’s ment to only cost 10b, while the NBN has cost us 40b

Network Address Translation

Network Address Translation allows a single device, such as a router, to act as an agent between the Internet (or public network) and a local network (or private network), NAT allows a single unique IP address to represent an entire group of computers to anything outside their network.
