We remember what we rehearse
What see, hear, say, read, do over and over again and again.
We don’t remember all stories or memories of events but we do remember stories we repeat over and over.
All the story telling we do requires frequency
Frequency = trust.
People need to know our name, our repeated story to search for us.

There are no excuses only choices
- what excuses do you use?
- what stops you from changing?
- what do you allow that keeps you from changing?
- how much longer are you going to delay changing?
You don’t have what you want b/c you chose not to
You always have options; you chose not to
People hire us b/c we will not allow them to excuse their choices.
I don’t have time to…journal, prepare, count,

Why not be real
Slipping up happens; doesn’t mean you don’t care but it does mean you chose it and must own it.
TIp # 2 Invest in motivation
It’s alive! It eats, it breathes, it begs attention, take me out for a spin every day.
We don’t invest in motivation. We expect it to be there. But it ebbs and flows.
It’s like you bank account- in and out.

You have to make debits in order to take credits.
3Steps to Motivating Motivation. You MUST invest in motivation or your accounts will go bankrupt. You will file for bankruptcy.
It’s all about pluses and minuses (++++- - - - )
Negatives are normal! Pluses are not! Negatives are automatic; pluses MUST be intentional.
When we pin all our hopes on one goal; that hope dies whether we achieve it and we don’t.

Make constant motivation your objective.
Everyday is a day worth nurturing motivation.

We settle. Misery likes company, motivation attracts inspiration.
Tip #3 Plan smart
If you fail to plan…
Make a plan, Do the plan, Talk about the plan
Fat loss is war. No war was ever won without a plan!
Missing results is missing in action
Maintain fwd momentum by seeing your results. Measuring you progress is vital.
Tip#4 Consistency Works Both Ways
We think of it in only positive terms but it can be good, bad or real ugly!!
There are good habits and bad habits.
Who you are over and over again is who your are.
What you do repeatedly is who you are
Consistency is not boring? If you are boring all the time, you are consistently boring.
Ask yourself, how was I consistent today? How was I consistent yesterday.
