You could use tamazepam. The benzos allows you to get to sleep faster but also decrease REM sleep.

Instead of benzos, you can use non-benzodiazepin GABA receptor agonist.
What are the names of three non-benzodiazepine GABA receptor agonists used for insomnia?
Zaleplon, zolpidem, and eszopiclone.These are better because they do not affect REM sleep.
What are the two mai benefits of using NBRA drugs to treat insomnia?
1) they do not inhibit REM and 2) they have a low dependence/abuse potential associated with them.

p450 system (exclusively)
Ramelteon
Melantonin (MT1 and MT2) reeptor agonists. SHortens sleep latency but does not prolong maintenance.
How is Ramelteonn metabolized? What are the contraindications for this drug?
Metabolized by CYP1A2. Do not give with FLUVOXAMINE (inhibits CYP12A).
