A
- antibiotic assoc-colitis can be fatal = high risk in elderly
- contact doctor if severe, prolonged or bloody diarrhoea
- in c.diff if suspected discontinue

- blood dyscrasia if long tx look for blood disorder signs = fever, sore throat, rash, mouth ulcers, bruising or bleeding
- hyperkalaemia
