What does individual mean?
Centred on the person
Behaviour could be a result of personality or genetics
What does situational mean?
Focuses on the situation leading to behaviour including the environment
People change behaviour to suit situation
What is loftus and palmer?
Situational as it was external factors meaning leading questions

Situational as external factors were that the context was changed to see difference
What is Bandura?
Situational as levels of normal aggression were separated and investigated
What is chaney?
Situational as it investigated incentives and what may change behaviour

Both as it shows the pressure of the situation changed behaviour however a lot of the participants went all the way

Both as they felt pressured and the test was situational however personality was tested before

Individual as it was looking at little Hans behaviour

Individual as it was investigating how their personal autism could affect behaviour

Individual as being an LD or HD can’t be affected by external influences

Individual as split brain is an individual difference

Allows predictions to be made

It’s reductionist

supports the idea that environmental factors have an impact on behaviour
