A
Drive to learn
- I maintain a high standard of knowledge and must be able to apply in real life and open to feedback
- I am curious about anaesthetics, participating in extracurricular activities including PLP1, Perioperative medicine, BASIC, ALS2 and making the most of my precious time in theatre.
- This drive to learn also motivates me to teach others as that helps me solidify the ideas in my head, I’ve been involved in teaching juniors since my 2nd year of med school, and am currently a clinical coach at the Mater.
- Important for anaesthetics as there is a huge breadth of knowlege to learn
Team player
- Both as an allied health (pharmacist) and a doctor. I have been a leader and a team member all the same.
- For instance, was tasked to be a medical escort for a longstay patient recently, open communication and respect for one another.
Time management
- Having worked in multiple different settings both in the community and hospital setting across 2 different states, I’ve worked in multiple pressured situations both acutely.
- Person that is known to get aspects of patients care in a timely fashion and prioritizing.
- Important to have good time management as a doctor
- Key to provide the best patient care with the resources available

Afraid of public speaking
Acknowledge that this is a challenge for me and that it is important for me to gain this

Started of in medical school First year final exam, appendicitis Get as much experience as I can 3 key reasons 1. Challenging with variety, acuity and complexity 2. Enjoy team work 3. Direct impact on patient care
