when you no longer go through reincarnation and get to a holy state
Bodhisattva
person who has reached nirvana but stays on earth to help others get there (used by Wu Zhou later)

Early Vedic Religion (Hinduism)
people cant move up in caste system much, reincarnation, unrest toward religion,
Jainism
comes about because of dislike of early Hinduism, extreme non-violence, eat but food has to be given to you, unpopular
