Sentences which reference people in general and are used in statements or questions about what ‘they’, ‘one’ or ‘you’ do.
How is the impersonal se formed?
se + verb in third person singular (never plural)
There is no obvious subject (one, they, or you) used
One should work hard to gain success.
Se debe trabajar mucho para tener éxito.
You live well in this village./Life is good in this village.
Se vive muy bien en este pueblo.
They’re looking for witnesses to the crime.
Se busca a los testigos del crimén.
