What are different types of venom allergy
Local- redness around area, all sx localised to bite

Anaphyaxis
Symptoms of a systemic venom allergy
cutaneous reactions that are relatively distant from the exposure site e.g. widespread redness, itching, urticaria and/or angioedema (not affecting the mouth or throat).
What is management of venom allergy
If anaphylaxis, adrenaline etc
Local/systemic- antihistamines, supportive
If systemic referral to allergy clinic
What do if history of systemic venom allergt
Refer to allergy clinic for testing
Management of refractory anaphylaxis
Seek expert guidance
IV adrenaline and IV fluid bolus
