Q

The power stroke occurs when ATP is hydrolyzed to ADP and phosphate.

A

When ATP leaves new actin can bind to myosin and before they bind ATP is hydrolyzed so that it has ADP and Pi and actin binds !! (conformational change happens in the myosin head to ADP Pi so that cross-bridge happens)
