Pier Sentry (waterside threat, subsurface threat, unauthorized entry, high speed vehicle)
Secure pier and pier access point. Report to chain of command. monitor radio.
Pier Rover (waterside threat, subsurface threat, unauthorized entry, high speed vehicle)
Secure pier. Monitor radio. Respond to intercept point. Intercept and detain/stop intruder(s) from accessing pier or approaching ship. Report to COG.
Waterside Watch (waterside threat, subsurface threat, unauthorized entry, high speed vehicle)
Track small boat. Make reports to COG. Stop boat from approaching the ship.
Pierside Watch (waterside threat, subsurface threat, unauthorized entry, high speed vehicle)
Maintain pierside watch. Monitor radio.
QD Watch (waterside threat, subsurface threat, unauthorized entry, high speed vehicle)
Put ship at security alert. Secure access to ship. Monitor radio.
Vehicle Inspectors (waterside threat, subsurface threat, unauthorized entry, high speed vehicle)
Secure. Take cover. After threat ends, reinspect.
Pier Sentry (Suspicious package)
Secure access point. Report to COG. Evacuate area. Make report to EOD personnel upon arrival.
Pier Rover (Suspicious package)
Assist evacuation. Respond to opposite end of pier than threat and maintain lookout.
Waterside watch (suspicious package)
Continue watching waterline and harbor/bay. Monitor radio.
Pierside watch (suspicious package)
Take cover. Monitor radio.
QD Watch (suspicious package)
Put ship at security level. Evacuate pier. Take cover.
Vehicle Inspectors (possible IED)
Secure inspection, detain occupants. Take cover. Report to COG. Clear area of personnel. Make report to EOD upon arrival.
Vehicle Inspectors (found weapon)
Secure vehicle inspection. Detain occupants.
Theatre Rules of Engagement (ROE)
Anti-terrorism officer briefs ROE during port brief and they are provided to sentries at guard mount.
