Line Formation
Used to hold the crowd or deny access to restricted areas; also used to push or drive crowds straight back, across an open area, or up a pier. Team members line up shoulder to shoulder facing crowd.
Line Formation
used to turn or divert groups in either open or built-up areas and to move crowds away from buildings, fences, and walls. Basic formation is exactly same as line, but line is situated at a 45 degree angle.
Echelon Formation
used to penetrate and split crowds.
Wedge Formation
used as an offensive formation, used to enter a crowd and is the formation of choice for extraction teams.
