4 things to remember when looking at an image

A
  1. imaging modality (X-ray, CT, MRI)
  2. what part of body is imaged (chest, head, limb)
  3. plane of imaging (axial, sagittal, coronal)
  4. Left or Right when naming structures (left interal oblique, right common carotid)
