Indications
A
indicated for pain relief:
Mild pain – used in conjunction with paracetamol,
Moderate pain used in conjunction with paracetamol, tramadol and methoxyflurane
Severe pain -may be administered in addition to other measures for severe pain

Contraindications
A
known severe allergy >
third trimester of pregnancy

Cautions 10
A
taken ibuprofen within the last four hours Abdominal pain, - very unwell or vomiting 75 years and older Dehydration shock renal impairment bleeding disorder worsening of bronchospasm with NSAIDs Taking warfarin pregnancy

A
200 mg tablet
600 mg orally for adults weighing greater than 80 kg > 400 mg orally for adults weighing 80 kg or less
