cardiac arrest 
imminent respiratory arrest from CORD
anaphylaxis
severe asthma
severe bradycardia 
severe stridor
intranasal  -significant bleeding from the nose 
topical - significant bleeding from a wound.

Dose and administration Route

A

Ampoule = 1mg in 1 ml

IM -
Draw up .05mg / .05 ml (1/2) into a 1 ml syringe. Attach 22g or 25g IM needle

Topical -Dilute each 1 ml of adrenaline to a total of 10 ml using 0.9% sodium chloride

Nebulised (Neb) five x 1mg/ml adrenaline ampoules and squirt into the nebuliser bowl. > Attach to nebuliser mask and set flow at 8l/m.

Intranasal -1 mg of adrenaline to a total of 10 ml using 0.9% sodium chloride -2 ml of this solution into each bleeding nostril
