Engine fire and severe damage checklist
- Autothrottle- Disengage
+2. Thrust Lever (affected engine)- Close
+3. Engine Start Lever (affected engine)- Cutoff
+4. Engine Fire Switch (affected engine)- Pull
If fire switch or engine OHEAT light is illuminated:
5. Engine Fire Switch- Rotate to stop and hold for 1 second.
If after 30 seconds the fire switch or engine OHEAT light remains illuminated:
6. Engine Fire Switch- Rotate to stop and hold for 1 second.
APU fire checklist
+1. APU fire switch- Pull and rotate to stop, hold for 1 second
2. APU switch- OFF
Aborted engine start checklist
+1. Engine start lever- Cutoff
Engine limit, surge, or stall
- Autothrottle (if engaged)- Disengage.
+2. Thrust lever (affected engine) - Retard until engine indications are within limits or thrust lever is closed.
