- Loss of muscle mass increased fat, wt gain

- Testosterone replacement- topical or transdermal

A
- FSH & LH deficiency- hypothalamic or pituitary issue
- decreased testicle size
- Due to:
- Pituitary tumor, cushing/ adrenal insufficiency
- Thyroid hormone deficiency, malnourishment, hemochromatosis

- Serum prolactin- prolacinemia
- Gynecomastia- androstenedione & esterone
- Estradiol- elevated
- Ferritin (hemochromatosis)

A
- Issue at sex organs, sufficient gonadatropins secreted from hypothalamus. pituitary
- Male climacteric
- Klinefelter
- Orchitis (gonorrhea, Tb, leprosy)
- Radiation/ chemo
- Autoimmune, torsion, dystrophy

- Karyotype for klinefelter, leukocyte X-inactive specific transcriptase

Hyper- hypo: High LH/ FSH, low estrogen
- Issue at sex organ (Turner, ovarian failure, chemo)
Hypo-hypo: Low LH/FSH due to issue at hypothalamus/ pituitary
