- flushing
- drowsiness, lethargy
- hypoactive reflexes
- depressed repiations

What causes Hypermagnesemia?
A
- renal failure
- adrenal Insufficiency (Addison’s)

NI for hypermagnesemia
A
- monitor all system
- prescribed diurectics
- IV–> Ca+ gluconate or Ca chloride ( antidte to reverse the effects)
- instruct clients to avoid se of laxatives and antacids containing Mg+ ( Mg+ hydroxide)
