A

Bgan as low pressure weather system in Atlantic over 270c sea it obtains energy and moisture here. Air rotates anti-clock wise
→then strengthened to become a tropical storm
→moved west and neared Florida coat on 25th August

  • business owners took the law into their own hands and defended their properties

Residents advised to sucure their property and storm shutters over the windows and to ensure a supply of adequate water for drinking, cooking and sanitary purposes - people told to set up evacuation plans and drills - medicals special needs shelters have been set up in the even of a hurricane

Five years laster thousands of displaced residents in Misssissippi and Lpuisiana are still living in temporrary accommodation
