Describe the Humoral response
A
Uses B-lymphocytes produced in the bone marrow.
When an foreign antigen enters the blood it combines with B-lymphocytes which then divide rapidly through mitosis forming a clone of plasma cells. These then produce mainly antibodies but also memory cells. The memory cells can live for large periods of time, sometime even for life.
