if its in a busy area you need to be recording quickly.
have to ensure same vehicles/ pedestrians arent counted twice.

subjective to opinion, different person may have completely different results.
visiting different places at different times of day may result in external factors influencing opinion.
Questionaires
some people might lie
times of day of important, if lots of people are working the results wont be representative of general overall population.
Interview design
it only takes one opinion to make results biased
some people will not want to be stopped and asked questions in the street.
Rural land use mapping
land uses may change throughout the year, Eg crop rotation.
some areas may be harder to reach of road, over feilds etc.
if you are unsure whats growing in a field, ask or use google.
Urban land use mapping
can be come competitive ib buildings have multiple uses
can be very time consuming.
