How much 5” should be carried on apparatus?
Supply Beds shall contain a minimum of 800’ of 5-inch hose loaded flat with
a strap finish. Aerial apparatus and Pierce CF style cab engines contain
800’. All other engines contain 1000’.
How much 2.5” hose should be placed on stretch beds?
All Stretch Beds shall contain 800’ of 2 ½” hose loaded in a modified flat lay
alternating color every 100’.
Preconnect hose loads
All pre-connected attack lines shall be 200’ of 1 ¾” or 2 ½” hose loaded in
the Modified Minuteman Load
Trash lines
All trash lines shall be 100’ of structural rated 1¾” hose. Trash lines may
be loaded on the front bumper, side tray or with the cross lays, depending
on the apparatus.
High Rise Packs contain
All high-rise hose packs shall consist of three 50’ sections of 2 ½ inch hose in individual bundles. High-rise packs shall be bundled with 4 Velcro straps
per section.
Horizontal Standpipe contains
The horizontal standpipe consists of 150’ of 1 ¾” hose, bundled with 3 “grenade style” straps.
The Blitz Fire contains
The Blitz Fire attack line includes 100’ of 2 ½” hose in a donut roll.
Failure of hose deployments should be reported to?
If possible, pictures should be taken, and a statement of failure forwarded to Logistics
for investigation.
