Q

What happens if your body temperature gets too hot?

A
  • Your hairs will lie flat
  • You sweat, which evaporates and removes the heat
  • Vasodilation occurs which increases the blood flow to the skin, transferring heat quicker

Q

What happens if your body temperature gets too cold?

A
  • Your hairs stand up (creating an insulating layer)
  • Blood capillaries constrict (reducing blood supply to skin)
