Function of the Pancreas
Regulates blood glucose levels.
Where is the Thymus
In the chest, between the lungs and behind the sternum
Function of the Adrenal Gland
Regulates salt and water in the blood assists body in coping with stress. They also produce hormones that help regulate your metabolism, immune system, blood pressure, response to stress and other essential functions.
Where is the Adrenal located?
On top of both kidneys
Function of the Ovaries
Affect the formation of the ova and the development of the female sex characteristics.
Where is the Pituitary located?
At the base of the brain, attached to the hypothalamus
Function of the Testes
Affect the formation of sperm and development of male sex characteristics.
Function of the Pituitary Gland
Master gland.
Where is the Thyroid located
At the base of the neck, just below the Adam’s apple
Where is the Pancreas located?
Behind your stomach and in front of your spine
Function of the Parathyroid Gland
Regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphates.
Function of the Thyroid Gland
Controls rate of the body’s metabolism and influences growth and development.
Where is the Ovaries located?
On either side of the uterus

Aids in the formation of lymphocytes.

Inside the scrotum.
