What were the events of the Reichstag fire?
A
- The Reichstag burned down
- The Communists were blamed
- Hitler demanded special powers
- The Communists were banned, arrested and killed

What was the Enabling Act?
A
It allowed Hitler to pass laws without consulting the President or the Reichstag, which made him a legal dictator.

A
- Röhm was accused of treason and planning to betray Hitler
- He and leaders of the SA were killed
- Von Schleicher was murdered, von Papen was placed under house arrest
- Around 400 people killed
