Who was Alexander Dubcek

People were able to criticise the communist rule, expose corruption, and Ask awkward questions about events in the country’s recent past
How did the Soviets respond to the new freedoms given by the Czech govt
they tried to intimidate the Czechs with Soviet, Polish and East German troops, as they did training exercises right on the Czech border. One 20 august the Soviets moved tanks into Czechoslovakia. There was little violent resistance and Dubcek was removed from power.
What were the outcomes of the Soviet intervention in Czechoslovakia
Dubcek was send to be ambassador in Turkey, then he was expelled from the communist party altogether.
